About Me

Hello! My name is Ana and I'm hoping you'll help me reach my goal of raising $3,000 for one of the most amazing organizations around. Ever since I first heard about First Descents and its amazing mission to help young adults with cancer I wanted to do something to help.

The stories of hope, faith and courage in the face of such an awful predator – cancer – you'll read about and see in videos on the First Descents website are very inspiring. While this is an ugly disease which oftentimes strikes the most beautiful of people, it makes you respect life and want to live it to the fullest while you have it.

Brad Ludden and the entire First Descents team are helping people faced with grim news live life to the fullest and enjoy all of the beautiful things this world has to offer in sometimes not-so-beautiful circumstances. The adventures offered give people a boost in positivity and outlook in ways that nothing else seems to.

Any donation will be greatly appreciated and you will help this awesome team of staff and volunteers reach more people and get them into the outdoors to experience the healing powers of nature!
