About Me

On July 22nd, I became an IRONMAN!!  That's a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike and 26.2 mile run, in a little over 16 hours.  It was truly one of the best days of my life!!

The victory is made even sweeter by the fact that I am now almost 5 years in remission from Hodgkin's Lymphoma.  Back in 2008 as I was completing my final chemo treatment, I had no idea that I would make such a swift and amazing recovery -- far surpassing my own expectations and going on to acheive things beyond my wildest dreams!

I'm raising these funds to help send another cancer fighter/survivor to First Descents camp, where they too can have the opportunity to empower themselves and reclaim their life after cancer!!
